Mscribe to Launch the First Non-arbitrary Token (NAT) Launchpad for DMT Creators — Blockpad
We are excited to introduce Mscribe’s Blockpad — A new Non-arbitrary Token (NAT) launch process expanding the scope of minting controls for DMT creators!
The DMT ecosystem has shown some significant early signs of impact and growth since its launch, but that was quickly stifled by the actions of a handful of collusive actors who made it their mission to capture concentrated supplies of newly minted UNATs (Unique Non-arbitrary Tokens).
This minting dilemma has led to a month long development cycle to extend the underlying TAP token protocol, and to enable NAT deployers the possibility of introducing more minting parameters to give control back to the creators looking to launch successful ecosystems on Bitcoin under the DMT umbrella.
This is achieved through Mscribe utilizing “Privilege Authority” under the TAP token specification and a new token deployment interface on Mscribe we call Blockpad.
We are excited to work with the team at Trac to expand the functionality of the TAP protocol and as a direct result, the scope of ecosystem viability for DMT.
Mscribe’s Blockpad Using Privilege Authority
With the activation of TAP’s latest protocol update “Privilege Authorities”, creators who intend to deploy assets under the DMT protocol framework can now use Mscribe to set mint parameters. Step by step instructions on how to do so will be released in a Gitbook update in the coming days.
Blockpad Explained
Mscribe’s Blockpad is similar in function to any typical token minting launchpad you would find on Magic Eden or Opensea. However, the Blockpad offers a new mint experience for creators and their community to enjoy together as Bitcoin blocks become claimable.
Blackpad will enable features listed below for NAT deployers to set their own custom minting parameters.
- Set mint price
- Zero front running of mints
- Dynamic mint phase setting
- Whitelisting
- Randomization of mints
- Set mint limits per wallet
- Set future launch block height
- Set team allocation
After a creator sets their preferred mint settings, users can then be navigated to the NAT page for the deployed ticker where the mint experience can begin. Dependent on the block height activation set by the deployer, users will all join into a wait room lobby in preparation of the target Bitcoin block being mined.
From the block activation point begins the magic where minters exit the lobby and are instantly ported to a shared block environment where each square on the field represents a Bitcoin block containing the deployed NAT. From here a minter vs minter battle for the block claiming commences, propagating quite the spectacle of a mint experience where thousands of cursors are running around in real time headed toward their desired block location.
We wanted to ensure the DMT asset minting process on Mscribe is as original and exciting as the asset generation protocol itself. Web3 is in dire need of technical innovations and we feel what we are introducing with this Blockpad experience can push the industry forward in a much more engaging direction, bringing a tangible closeness for users interacting with the Bitcoin block data layer like never before.
Testing Experience
We have been testing the new DMT mint process on Mscribe over the last couple of weeks. We deeply appreciate the community for contributing to this testing process to ensure platform cleanliness for future launches. With over 3,000 participants for the first successful Blockpad test mint , we have solid foundations to ensure a one of a kind minting experience for Mscribe users.
If you missed the test and want to see the experience, watch our most recent YouTube video where we relive it down below.
Upcoming Redacted Blockpad Launch
We are lucky to have had a launch partner like kingpunkape who is leading the first UNAT launch to leverage the Blockpad deployment method. King was one of the first UNAT creators to identify the core issue at hand with concentrated mints and has diligently worked alongside with us to provide a deployer perspective for development considerations.
Redacted is poised to kickstart the next phase of UNAT creativity and has fostered a well educated DMT ethos aligned community. We are super excited to see the minting pandemonium at launch. Official <Redacted> launch block height to be announced. Mint phases and prices below.
